This is one of those high Fantasy books in which you will completely immerse yourself in. There are several central characters and political intrigue with magic and adventure. Set during the time of Castle's, Princesses and alliances between Kingdom's is crucial.
Princess Tessia is in the middle of the negotiations between Kingdoms and she is my favorite character, showing strength and determination. She also brings a little bit of the softer side to all of the politics that are going on.
I liked the addition of magic into the story as well, it gives it that little extra to make the story more enjoyable and helped to break up the constant discussions between the characters of strategies and attacks and winning the battles.
A good story for boys interested in war strategies and battles, in general.
