U.S. #Giveaway (closed) Valentines Day Celebration!!!

A love so strong, even eternity can’t separate them.

Evie Starling has lived a relatively uneventful life hanging out with friends, gossiping about boys, and driving her 1966 Mustang. All of that changes when she moves to Gunnison, Colorado, to start college and meets two mysterious men.

For centuries, Alex Night and Emil Stone have yearned for Evie—but they each have their own reasons for wanting to be with her. When both men claim to be her soul mate and tell her about an unbelievable past, Evie learns that she’s not the person she thought she was. Soon, Evie finds herself in the middle of an age-old battle between the Amaranthine Society—the soul protectors, and the Daevos Resistance—the soul destroyers. With a past she doesn’t understand, and a future rife with danger, Evie has to decide who she can trust. But Alex and Emil aren’t the only ones who want Evie, and her soul is about to become the rope in an eternal tug-of-war

  1. Something less obvious. Hmmm. That's kinda tough. OH I KNOW! I couldn't think of a book, because the only TRUE romance book that I have ever read was Twilight and who hasn't read that? However, I have the best movie for you. HAHAHA, I feel so happy that I thought of this. It's like this fantastic movie that no one has seen for some reason.

    Alex & Emma

*sigh* It's light, it's sweet, it's entertaining, and it's about love and books! The lead, Alex, is a writer who owes some bad people some money and has to write a book in 30 days to get his advance and then pay them off. So he hires a stenographer, Emma, to help him do this. You get to watch their quirky interactions as they write this book and you get to watch the book unfold. It's quite accurate in the way a writer thinks to, which is fun. Whether you pick my comment or not, you need to see this movie. It's just a gem. Maybe I'll watch it when I get home XD

  4. Oooh that's tough... is Ever After considered popular? I love that movie so much. I also just read Scarlet which came out today, and since I hadn't heard much about that one before I read it, I'm counting it as unknown. Great if you love the story of Robin Hood... with a twist! :) andiruggles on Twitter.

  6. Gotta love when a giveaway makes you think! Awesome question!
Remembrance by Michelle Madow is definitely a great read. It's got it's share of Romance And it's a little lesser known and as for a movie...
I'd have to go with Serendipity! It's a little old but still awesome! AND It's my favorite movie! :)

  7. Too many to choose from! There are great romances everywhere I turn! Well for a book, I think a great romance/thriller, is the Touch Series by Laurie Stolarz. Its not just about love, its about falling in love. It's got all the normal uncertainties that go with love, like does he like me? Is he a psycho killer that pushed his ex-girlfriend off a cliff? Totally normal. For a movie, thats a lot tougher. there are infinitely more romancy/lovey dovey movies that I can think of off the top of my head. If you want a funny romance, not for kids, that is both hilarious as well as a life lesson to all. Dirty Love is a really good movie. It is not for those faint of heart I must warn. It is definitely not for children and I would advise that there aren't any around when you pop in this movie. Its about a girl, who gets tragically dumped by her super model boyfriend. You then follow her on her journey to find the "white pony" Which is apparently her knight in shinning armor. Its cute, funny and romantic, but a little vulgar at times. So if you aren't one for a bit of obscene jokes that are for adults, then this movie is better left at the rental store on the shelf. :) Happy Valentines Day!

  9. I would like to recommend the book Austenland by Shannon Hale. It is about a woman who can't find her Mr Darcy because no one measures up right. So she goes to Austenland to immerse herself in it and get Mr Darcy out of her system once and for all. In the end she finds something much better. Full of twists and turns and the ending was a complete surprise to me. Loved it!

  11. In the spirit of Eternal Starling (which I have not read, but my wife insists that I should) I would recommend "Somewhere in Time." Sure it's 30 years old and has Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour, but it is a wonderful story about a love that transcends time, and features wonderful acting and Rachmaninoff! Anyone who will overcome 80 years to find the one he loves is truly in love.

  15. Just finished the book The Night Circus. The love story in this book totally amazed me, and that seems so trite compared to how it moved me. But there's more to this book than just it's love story. All the characters bound together by the magic of the circus...I cared about each and every one of them.
