Adrenaline Rush (Christy #1) by Cindy M. Hogan

A madman with a mission is kidnapping groups of thrill-seeking high school seniors across the country, and it’s up to Christy to stop him.

To do so, she must take on a fearless alter ego and infiltrate a group of adrenaline junkies bent on pushing life to the limit. Death-defying stunts are only the beginning: two groups fit the profile, and Christy must discover the real target before it’s too late.

If she chooses the wrong group, more people will disappear. But choosing right puts her as the prime target—with no guarantee that she’ll get out alive.

Christy is the youngest member in her mission for the CIA to infiltrate a group of adrenaline junkies and attempt to be kidnapped by a powerful but unknown group. The summary does not state this fact, but I do not believe it to be a spoiler because the story would have nowhere to go without it...(she is chosen and kidnapped). She must learn how to judge the right people, know who to speak to but not give away her motives while she is within the compound she has been taken to. Tracking her is the only way to stop the kidnappings and also what the kidnapped are being made to do after they are taken.
I really enjoyed this story, there are a lot of great characters and the dialogue is funny and informative. Christy has has a photographic memory which is hard in her circumstance because she cannot stand out more than the others. She does want to stand out just enough to get noticed so she can get into some inner circles for answers.
There is a bit of romance, a lot of danger and action and good plot twists. Christy is a good strong main character and the storyline is fun and fast paced. It's a great clean teen read.
