Book Three: Cloud Prophet Trilogy
Reychel knows her gift of prophecy will lead to madness and now she is at her most vulnerable. The enemy army will attempt to sever her from everything she's ever known: her homeland, her friends, Mark, and her gift. Even at her weakest, she refuses to give up on her desire to end the war between the Malborn and the Serenians. Reychel would do anything, even come back from the dead, to conquer the enemy and reunite with Mark
This is one of those series that had me from the first book. The characters are intriguing and each book has so much that happens they are hard to put down.
In this third book, it's the one that I feel Reychel has the most character growth for her. she is learning how to use her powers and read her visions.
Her romance with Mark takes a pretty big step forward. And her relationship with her childhood friend Ivy takes a huge turn with events that left me breathless. It was an emotional roller coaster between the two.
There are several times throughout this story that pushes us forward in time. Magic, portals, visions, friendship, enemies, slaves and war. Very imaginative and even though there is a romance aspect to the story, there is no love triangle and it even takes a back seat to the major plot line. Reychel is showing all the signs of becoming a strong, powerful female character and with this ending, I am picking up the next book now.
I couldn't recommend these books more.
