Now, what I like about Richard is that he speaks his mind. His personality comes through in his writing as well, This is only the 2nd story I have read of his, but believe me I will read all of his works as they come out because his writing style always leaves a little humor in it and leaves you light-hearted. Hillserpent Academy was another fast read. It had action, crushes and my favorite of the characters Witcheisters, and maybe I loved them more for the name than their "character". I cannot help but to giggle a little, because I have family in Germany, so when I see the words like Witcheister, I say it really fast and it sounds German.

Even if I missed your funny bone, so far I have found Richard's books to be really fast and fun reads. Full of adventure and humor and great characters. I think they are perfect for that time of night when you want to wind down, get ready for bed and read a couple of pages before you sleep. His stories are short and perfect for that little bit of down time.
