I don't participate in this meme very often but as it's getting that time of year when I start to put together my gift ideas for my family, it's just a fun time to participate.


The drizzle had broken into patches as they walked. As Drina scooped up the pale sand, Kate found herself standing in the smudge of shadow cast by the deadfall.
